Call
If you are thinking of buying property, why not give Leanne a call? Leanne can help you with what you need to know, and what you need to do to get the ball rolling

Meet
Once your offer is accepted, your contract will be sent to Leanne. Leanne will arrange a meeting to go over the details and conditions of your purchase. If everything is going to plan, you will sign the loan documents and they will be sent to the seller’s conveyancer.

Exchange
After the seller has signed the contract, they will be exchanged and a settlement date will be set.

Settle
Once a settlement date is set, you can sit back and let Leanne take care of the rest. Leanne will let you know once the settlement is complete.

On the Day
The final step in the journey is getting the keys to your new house, this is usually organised through the real estate.

Meet our team
Michael Evers
Solicitor
With over 40 years’ experience in personal injury law, Michael Evers has established himself as one of the more prominent solicitors in the field.
Michael’s journey in personal injury law began in 1981 when he started working as an article clerk with Bruce O’Sullivan & Co Solicitors in Newcastle. It was during this time that Michael’s eyes were opened, and he realised he had a passion for helping people who had found themselves to be in difficult situations as a result of a personal injury.
In 1986, shortly after beginning his career in personal injury law, Michael was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
In 1988, Michael was elevated to a partner with O’Sullivan Saddington Evers specialising in litigation, personal injury and criminal law.
In 1993, Michael was awarded the Certificate of Accreditation in personal injury law with the Law Society of New South Wales.
In 1997, Michael Evers & Co was established in order to provide the local community with a Novacastrian solicitor they can trust to deal with problems arising from personal injuries.
Leanne Mundey
Conveyancer
Leanne has been working in Newcastle law firms since beginning as a Junior Legal Secretary in 1978. Working at a variety of local legal firms, Leanne initially progressed to a Senior Legal Secretary and Personal Assistant.
In 2006 Leanne graduated from Macquarie University after undertaking the Conveyancing Law and Practice course. Since acquiring this qualification, Leanne has been responsible for all conveyancing matters for Michael Evers & Co.
Leanne’s caring nature and extensive local knowledge combined with years of working in the legal industry provides her with a unique perspective when helping people acquire local property.
Leanne is also a licensed Justice of the Peace and can assist you with any enquiries you may have.
